Flocabx is a student-centered writing initiative for school districts that transforms classroom culture and engages the entire community. Flocabx has 3 pillars:
PD on engaging writing practices, culturally responsive pedagogy and youth culture, led by Flocabulary staff and external facilitators.

The writing prompt is designed to drive towards your academic goals. During the contest, everyone in the district will receive full access to Flocabulary.com and the Flocabulary mobile app. Written work is done using Lyric Lab, Flocabulary’s rhyme-writing tool.
The entire community, including families, local business leaders, local media, and elected officials, come together to see students perform live and celebrate their work. Performances also include guest appearances from Flocabulary artists.
Flocabx showcases student work far beyond the classroom walls.
Valuing the culture, ideas and skills that students already bring to the classroom increases engagement and accelerates academic achievement
Student performances elevate the work of the district to be celebrated by the entire community
Tying core academic goals to a hip-hop writing contest transforms classroom culture and makes achieving those goals more accessible for all students
