Here’s how you can share the stage with Flocab artists at ISTE 2018

ISTE 2018 is right around the corner, and team Flocab is ready to mobilize and bring you some great events, sessions and workshops all about Flocabulary!

This year, instead of a booth, we’re bringing you experiences and sessions that embody Flocab’s spirit. To start, get your tickets for our first EVER Concert & Open Mic event benefiting the wonderful people at Young Chicago Authors and Turnaround Arts, two local Chicago organizations that empower student voice.

What can I expect from Flocab's Concert & Open Mic?

We wanted to bring you closer to our artists, so we’ve invited them to perform Flocab songs and their own songs live at Reggie’s Chicago. Our students and teachers are also incredibly talented, so Young Chicago Authors and Turnaround Arts students will be performing their own original raps. And YOU have the opportunity to perform as well!

We’ll be choosing a few outstanding teacher submissions to perform in our fantastic lineup. Write a rap, poem or song inspired by what your students have taught you, and submit it here. Submissions are open to everyone, whether you’re a first-timer, a regular poet or master MC.

You’ll also receive a Flocabulary t-shirt just for submitting!

And that's not even half of it!

There will be free food, an open bar, a DJ after the performances AND exclusive swag.

Our artists, Fat Tony, Sammus and Blimes are ready to perform their Flocab lessons and original songs for you! You know Fat Tony from Shakespeare and Diversity, Sammus from Hyperbole and Earth’s History, and Blimes from Nutrition and Perspectives on Race. You can review those lessons below, so you can jam to their performances.

So get ready, get set, write! We’re excited to read your submissions and cheer on your stellar performances.
